STEVEN JAKYMIWApril Dinner Meeting
Alderman Dave Bronconnier was scheduled to speak to us in April. Unfortunately because of the expected low attendance, it was decided to postpone his talk. The Executive is most concerned with the low attendance at our dinner meetings. If you have any suggestions as to how to improve this situation, please let the Executive know.May Dinner Meeting
There will be no dinner meeting this month. The speaker we had hoped to get is unfortunately not available and we cannot find a suitable replacement at this time.June Meeting
With the Oil and Gas Conference in Calgary June 12 to 15, we are hoping to have one of the attendees as a speaker. Details will follow shortly.Federation News
- Trip to Ukraine- Sept 14 to Oct 3, 2000. Cost from Calgary is approximately $3,700. I have a copy of the brochure. Please let me know if you are interested, since they are eager to finalize numbers.

May 27. Yalenka 25th Anniversary. Performance at 2:00 pm at Boyce Theatre (Stampede Grounds) followed by dinner & dance at Red & White Club. Cost is $25 for adults.June 9. 8:00 PM. Korinnya Ukrainian Folk Choir is staging Oy Baba Zabava. This fundraising concert, silent auction and dance will be held at the Hillhurst-Sunnyside Community Centre (1320 - 5th Avenue NW).
