Film will be in Ukrainian. The DVD is available in four languages. On this anniversary of Ukraine’s 1918 Independence and the Unification of Western and Eastern Ukraine, Ambassador Ihor Ostash will talk on Canada-Ukraine relations at that time, before the film showing. feature professor Milana Nikolko (Taurida U, Ukraine), and experts
including Peter Konecny (CSIS) and professors David Mendeloff,
Andrea Chandler, Jeff Sahadeo, and Piotr Dutkiewicz (Carleton U).
Policy makers from DFAIT, CIDA and DND will participate. In the

The world premiere of the Ukrainian Art Song Project's six-CD compilation of the art songs of Mykola Lysenko will take place at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts (main stage) in Toronto on Sunday, April 11, 2010 at 7:00pm. During the evening there will be an opportunity to acquire the magnificent six-CD compilation of Lysenko's 124 art songs. The evening program will include performances by renowned artists: Pavlo Hunka, Monica Whicher, Krisztina Szabo, Michael Colvin, Albert Krywolt, Roman Borys and Douglas Stewart, and producer, Roman Hurko.
