FILIP KONOWAL, VC MEMORIAL AWARD FOR LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT

The Filip Konowal Memorial Award has been established to honour those who have, over, their lifetime, made substantial contributions to the development of the Ukrainian Canadian community. Recipients do not have to be members of the UCPBA(O), although they often are. Preliminary selection of the recipient is done by an ad hoc committee chaired by the current Past President. It consists mostly of other past presidents. Final approval is done by the Board of Directors. The Filip Konowal Award is usually presented at the Christmas Dinner. Nominations may be forwarded at any time to the Past President. For consideration in the current year, they should be sent before the end of October.
