Our Shevchenko Museum has attracted visitors from far and wide and

We are gratified and excited that Taras Shevchenko's life story
and achievements find stiring responses from museum visitors.

Ever since its inception in 1952 this unique museum, with its art
gallery and research library, have been devoted to popularizing
the Bard of Ukraine, people's poet, artist and humanist, and has
been operated and maintained, in the main, by volunteers.
We welcome new volunteers interested in participating in any aspect
of museum operations: visitor hosting, publicity, mounting exhibitions,
storing exhibits, general maintenance, etc...

Taras Shevchenko Museum presents: Exhibition of Taras Shevchenko's
Art. The opening is on Sunday, January 20, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.
with coffee and sweets reception. Shevchenko art works in oil, pencil,
watercolour, engraving, Shevchenko philatelic collection and many
unique, one-of-a-kind exhibits are on display.
