Prymak, Research Associate, Chair of Ukrainian Studies, University of Toronto, and author of the pioneering biography of historian Mykhailo Hrushevsky: “In the Shadow of a Political Assassination: Gabrielle Roy’s Stephen and the Ukrainian Canadians”. A love story between a French Canadian writer and a young Ukrainian Canadian nationalist from Alberta sent to the Europe of Hitler and Stalin on the eve of WWII to work for the movement underground.
