Alice Wong, on her summer tour of Canada meeting seniors. Accompanied by Ted Opitz, MP for Etobicoke Centre and Bernard Trottier, MP Etobicoke Lakeshore, Minister Wong met with residents and observed various programs and activities.  Dr. Wong noted that the community was fortunate to have such a bright and airy home and the Michael and Sophia Witer Special Care Unit. The Special Care Unit is unique in that it provides specialized dementia programming using best practice models and is focused on meeting the needs of residents with dementia who are Ukrainian speaking.
