Miss Tarnowecky, a native of Kingston, Ontario, recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Book & Media Studies at the University of Toronto and hopes to continue her education in Communication and Advertising.  She is extremely proud of her heritage, speaks Ukrainian fluently and cites her grandmother, an award-winning actress in Ukraine, as her inspiration.
