Paul Grod Named Among Top 80 Influencing Canadian Foreign Policy

UCC President Paul GrodOttawa, March 11, 2013 (UCC) – Ukrainian Canadian Congress President Paul Grod once again has been named as one of the top 80 influencing Canadian foreign policy by Embassy Magazine, March 6 Issue, “Canada’s Foreign Policy Newsweekly”, a publication based in Ottawa. Congratulations to Paul for his efforts in supporting Canada on the international stage!

It re-affirms that the hard work of UCC branches, committees and member organizations is making a difference with Canada’s top decision makers.”

Paul Grod is CEO of Rodan Energy, a leading smart grid company. Paul has been President of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress since 2007 and Vice President since 2001. During his tenure as UCC President, Paul was successful in making Ukraine a top foreign policy priority for Canada, one of the negotiators for an agreement which recognises Canada’s first national internment operations and establishment of a $10M endowment by the Government of Canada, and helped ensure that Canada recognized the Holodomor as genocide of the Ukrainian people.

Paul Grod is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and holds a Bachelor in Political Science degree, a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Master of Business Administration degree. Paul is married and has four young children.
