Orest has been with Dunai from its inception. His choreographic abilities have been enhanced through courses and workshops. Besides Dunai, Orest has instructed Hamilton's Chaika Dancers and Oshawa's Lviv Dancers.

Orest has built the group's repertoire to many unique and dynamic dances as seen by the many awards and public recognition the group has received over the years.

Orest was presented with a plaque from the Province of Ontario for his long dedicated work and achievements with Dunai. He was also recognized by the Speaker of the House, House of Commons in Ottawa for his efforts with the group.

Marika grew up participating in Dunai's system as a dancer and most recently as a choreographer. She is a graduate of York University of Toronto, receiving an Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. She has successfully completed her elemantary ballet, I.S.T.D. and has taken jazz and tap exams.

Marika has taught the Lviv Dancers in Oshawa and the Ukraina Dancers in Brantford, as well as in Toronto, Buffalo, Glen Spey, NY and at Soyuzivka, NY. She is also on contract with the District School Board of Niagara where she has developed the dance program for students from Kindergarten to Grade Three.

Marika was the recipient of an Ontario Arts Council grant to further her teaching.
