Introduction

This particular image was programmed/created by myself using the Public Domain software package Persistence Of Vision Ray Tracer Version 3.0. This image was originally created in July 1996 for a Logo for the Internment of Ukrainians in Canada 1914-1920 Page. The basic conecpt was a "Ukrainianized" Canadian Flag to represent Ukrainian-Canadians. The Barbed wire represented how Ukrainian Canadians were stripped of their Civil Rights & their Citizenship in the War-Fever/Biggotry that had gripped Canada during the tenure of World War I. With respect to the barbed wire, this was an interesting programming job to handle the individual barbs on the barbed wire.
